considering an Electrical Testing and Tagging Course you should ask these questions.

the course delivered by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO)?

Is
the course accredited by VETAB (NSW Vocational Education & Training
Accreditation Board) or an equivalent state government body?

Is
the course Recognised through out Australia? (only the unit UEENEEP008B
is)

Are
the Trainers and Assessors fully qualified with a Minimum of Cert IV
TAA
-
Do
the Trainers and Assessors have extensive industry experience?

Is
there post course support?
Unless
you can answer YES to all of the above you are not receiving the most up to
date and comprehensive training available nor are you receiving training to an
industry standard.

WorkCover
NSW states in its Guide COMPETENT
PERSON FOR TESTING AND TAGGING ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT " That a
person that is not electrically qualified (a competent person) MUST
have attended a VETAB approved
training course and been issued a Statement of Attainment from a Registered
Training Organisation. "
NOTE:
A competent person MUST
produce their Statement of Attainment / Certificate on request to an employer,
Workcover inspector, principal contractor, contractor or elected OHS
representative or authorised representative.
NSW
Electrical Test & Tagging conduct a 1 day Test & Tag Training Course which answers
YES
to all the above questions and is also Approved
by the NSW Office of Fair Trading to earn 16
CPD points.
